Weekend Tidbits: A simple birthday, living furniture free, and super clean bathrooms

A note from Happy Simple Mom:

We celebrated my husband’s birthday last weekend. We had a bonfire, a few friends over, and lots of laughs.

Simple birthdays are my favorite. Nothing beats a sweet card, a homemade cake, and precious memories made with those you love to celebrate another year around the sun.

Trips are our favorite way to celebrate. Rather than expensive gifts, it’s fun to make new memories, so last weekend we went camping to celebrate as well.

We went rafting and tubing. (I look funny down my back. I’ve bruised myself up pretty well while tubing in shallow but rough waters, but I’m impressed I kept up with my kiddos!!)

My husband likely won’t remember the small gifts we bought him, but I bet he remembers the laughter as we floated down the river.
